How much is Perplexity Pro?
$20 a month in the US. A $200 annual plan is widely reported on the web, and verified students and educators can get about 50% off. Prices vary by country and app store.
Which AI models come with Pro?
As of September 2026, Pro includes Sonar 2, GPT-5.6 Terra, Gemini 3.7 Flash, Claude Sonnet 5, Kimi K3, GLM 5.3, Grok 4.6 and Nemotron 3 Ultra. GPT-5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 5 are Max-only.
Does Pro include Perplexity Computer?
Yes, Pro includes access with a 4,000-credit bonus, but no recurring monthly credits; you buy more as needed. Max includes 10,000 credits a month.
Is Pro unlimited?
Not entirely. Quick searches are unlimited and uploads are unlimited (at least 100 a day), but Pro Search, Deep Research and Labs have higher limits rather than none. Perplexity doesn’t publish exact numbers.
Does Pro include API access?
No. The Perplexity API is billed separately from subscriptions.
Can I try Pro for free?
Occasional partner offers exist, such as free Pro for US government employees or with some Motorola phones. Otherwise, refunds are available within short windows (24 hours monthly, 72 hours annual in most countries).
Where should I subscribe?
On the web where possible. Perplexity warns that upgrading in a mobile app can create a separate subscription; app-store plans are managed in Apple or Google settings.
