Signing up and signing in are the same flow: if no account exists for your email, one is created.

Problems
Sign-in problems and fixes
The email code or link doesn’t arrive
Check spam and promotions, wait a minute, then request one new code. Work email may block it; try a personal address.
“Wrong account” or my history is missing
You probably signed in with a different method or email. Sign out and try the method you first used. Apple Hide My Email and your real email count as different accounts.
Stuck on a loading or sign-in loop
Hard refresh, try a private window, clear cookies for perplexity.ai and turn off VPNs.
Can’t sign in on the app
Update the app, then sign in with the same method as on the web.
My Pro plan isn’t showing
Make sure you’re in the account you subscribed with. App Store or Google Play purchases are tied to that store account; restore purchases if offered.
I think someone else accessed my account
Secure the email, Google or Apple account you sign in with and change its password, then contact support@perplexity.ai.

Avoid fake Perplexity login pages
