Getting started
Go to perplexity.ai/comet and click Download. On a phone, use the App Store (iOS 18+) or Google Play (Android 12+).
Run the installer on Windows or drag Comet to Applications on Mac, then open it.
If Comet offers to import from your current browser during setup, bring over bookmarks so it feels familiar. You can also look for an import option in Comet’s settings.
Sign in with your Perplexity account so the assistant can use your plan and history.
Open any page, open the Comet Assistant and ask it to summarise, compare or do a small task.
